English Language Program: Costs and Housing

Welcome to the Global Launch community! Once you are an admitted student, there are several steps you must take to prepare for your first day of class in Phoenix or online. Please log into your My ASU account and ASU email for important pre-arrival information.

If you have any questions, contact the Global Launch Welcome Desk (Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. MST). We have many representatives who speak different languages.

Costs

The Global Launch English language program is offered in 8-week sessions at a time. The information below reflects all costs for new students attending an 8-week session.

Housing

Welcome to your new home at ASU! As a Global Launch student, you have several housing options. We’re here to help you start your search for the perfect place to stay and make the most of your experience in Phoenix, Arizona.

On-Campus Housing

Living on campus is a great way to integrate into the ASU community. Global Launch students who have earned conditional admission to ASU are eligible to apply. 

Before applying to live on-campus, please activate your My ASU account, view ASU housing options and learn about costs.

Off-Campus Housing

Global Launch students may live in apartments located near the ASU campus. Most students choose to share an apartment with classmates.

Homestay

When you live with an American host family, you will learn more about U.S. culture and fully surround yourself in the English language.

Temporary Accommodations

If you arrive in the U.S. before your housing is ready, you can reserve a stay at a nearby hotel. Please select one of the safe, clean and comfortable hotel options within walking distance of the ASU campuses. Please visit the ASU Travel Information website for a full list of preferred hotels.
