Students
You are eligible for the part-time incidental study. However, please note: if you begin studying in Global Launch while on a B visa (B-1, B-2), visa waiver, or border crossing card, a change to F-1 student status will not be possible unless you first exit the U.S., apply for and receive an F-1 student visa, and then re-enter the U.S. using the F-1 visa.
- Tell your student advisor that you want to transfer to the Global Launch English program. You should tell your advisor BEFORE you finish your current program.
- Submit your online application, non-refundable application fee, passport copy and statement of financial guarantee.
- Download and print the Global Launch F-1 Transfer-In Form, sign it, and ask your current school's student advisor to complete it.
- Send a copy, or have your advisor send a copy, of the completed F-1 Status Verification form to Global Launch.
Please speak with a Global Launch advisor to see if you are eligible for part-time study. (Visit Contact Us to reach an advisor).
F-1 students are eligible to work on campus a maximum of 20 hours per week. Global Launch F-1 students are generally not authorized to work off campus. If an F-1 student works off campus this will risk their F-1 immigration status and may result in departure from the U.S. If you have any questions about what jobs you can accept, speak with a Global Launch advisor for information.
If you are a degree-seeking student and are conditionally admitted to Arizona State University, you may NOT take classes at ASU while you are at Global Launch.
