Diana Salas Diaz, an ASU Global Launch alumna, achieved her dream of a career in international diplomacy with the help of the program. Hailing from Peru, Diana's passion for assisting underserved communities and understanding government's role in economic development drove her. Through dedication to enhancing her English language skills and preparing for graduate admission tests, Diana completed a two-month English for graduate admission program offered by ASU Global Launch in 2020. Her hard work paid off as she gained admission to ASU and graduated from the Thunderbird School in May 2022 with a master's degree in global management, specializing in global affairs and global business. Currently, Diana serves as a senior program coordinator for Latin America at the ASU International Development Initiative (IDI), overseeing projects funded by notable organizations like the U.S. Agency for International Development, Inter-American Bank, World Bank, and corporate funders.
